Thank you for taking the time to find out a little more about us! We are Love Smoothies and this is our story:
Love Smoothies was born out of a passion for making delicious fruit blended drinks. After university I did the fairly standard world trip where I tried many weird and wonderful fruit concoctions and I promised myself that when I returned I would start a company that made genuinely health smoothies that people would love.
Our first site was at Borough Market in 2004 where people would queue around the block to purchase our drinks. This gave us huge confidence and we swiftly followed this by building a smoothie bar in the foyer at Saatchi & Saatchi – who we still supply today. Over the years the company has grown and we now supply thousands of cafes, bars, restaurants, hotels, tourist attractions, schools, universities and health clubs as well as home deliveries and our customers are predominantly in the UK but we also supply to everywhere from Ireland to Nigeria and Beirut to the Canary Islands.
Our ‘Made-Easy’ concept (i.e. frozen fruit pouches which are blended with juice to create fantastic, healthy smoothies) has been a phenomenal success and we continue to build the company whilst being intrigued and excited by innovative ideas in the functional foods arena. Long may it continue.
