Our Mission
Our motto is this: Live Fast, Love Smoothies - hence our name!
It is because we´ve spent many years neglecting our bodies that we started this company in the first place.
Let´s be honest, smoothies aren´t going to change your life beyond all recognition, but at the very least they´ll give you a clear conscience when you´re doing things you shouldn´t. So with this in mind, our mission from the outset was a bit more rock & roll than that of most other smoothie companies.
We wanted to bring smoothies to those who were the toughest to convert. We figured (rightly by the looks of it) that if we could get the hardcore to incorporate smoothies into their diets, then everyone else would be easy! So we targeted a diverse range of sites from blue-chip companies to gyms and shopping malls, and from high street sites to airports and exhibition centres in order to reach people like us. And we´ve always had the same mission:
´To make smoothies that are quick and convenient to make that are genuinely good for people´.
But why are smoothies so good for you?
You just have to love nature, because in its perfection it provided its own natural antidote to the nastiness of stress and pollution - fruit! Our little love potions contain vitamins, minerals, enzymes and most importantly antioxidants, soaking up free radicals and cleansing the body and mind.
Fruit and vegetables are Mother Earth´s edible medicine and it is for this reason that the World Health Organisation, the UK Department of Health and the BBC all recommend the 5-a-day programme. This initiative´s aim is to enhance health and well-being and educate the population about the benefits of eating five portions of a variety of fruit and veg each day. It has long been recognised that our diet in the western world needs a rethink and it looks like we´ve finally gone beyond consulting tea leaves and waving dead chickens at the problem! And because we agree, we´ve made sure that all of our smoothies contain two-and-a-half portions of fruit or vegetables.
"Smoothies are healthier than thought"
